Danielle is truly the best! She first did my makeup as a bridesmaid at a friend's wedding, and I knew I had to have her for my own as soon as I got engaged. From the trial, to my crazy back and forth communication about what shade of lipstick I should wear, to the finished product on the day of, she was amazing every step of the way. My mom, bridesmaids and I all felt beautiful and the makeup lasted from 8 am when the first girl started until 2 am when we went to bed. Honestly, mine still looked pretty good the next morning even! Danielle did the makeup for 10 of us! Myself, my 7 bridesmaids, and my mom and MIL the morning of my wedding October 2019. Deciding on a makeup artist was probably one of the most stressful pieces of the planning process for me. But from the time of booking to the day of the wedding, Danielle was extremely responsive and really took the time to listen to all of my wants and concerns. She took my feedback from the trial and implemented the changes in a way that exceeded my expectations. She is a true professional. The morning of the wedding, she and her assistant Kelly were efficient and flexible. I was a ball of nerves, but sitting in the chair with Danielle put me at ease. She calmly narrated everything that was going on in the room and ensured that things were running smoothly so that I could relax. While of course everyone's makeup was absolutely stunning, it was Danielle's presence that really makes her stand out. She made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself and I would highly recommend her to any bride!

I would give Danielle 1,000,000 stars if I could. I have so many thoughts on how wonderful she is and I just want to get them all in! This girl is kind, sweet, funny, professional and incredibly TALENTED. She took her time to get to know me-not just as a bride, but as a person. She took notes on my makeup and my sensitivities to lashes to prepare for the big day. I will say though, I had a terrible experience with fake lashes in the past, but when Danielle put them on me they felt sooo comfortable (and I wear contacts!). She puts her heart and soul into her clients and really makes their day all about them. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy on my big day at Park Chateau. I cannot say enough about her organizational skills and professionalism. I am a teacher and saw that her organization is simply flawless. It really is hard to plan a wedding and try to work with several different vendors for a schedule. However, Danielle knew how to organize a room of 10 girls. She would tell me where I needed to be in 15 minutes which is sooo helpful. Danielle was calm and super excited for me that it was my day! She got right to work! I have to add that she had an assistant and she would occasionally ask the assistant to grab something in her 1,000 makeup bags she brought. But the crazy thing is she would look at one of the girls and immediately ask for a specific foundation, brand, color, etc and told her assistant EXACTLY where to find it ( in a sea of 1,000 makeup bags!) This alone was insane and proves her organization and expertise! There were several girls skeptical about getting their makeup done for several reasons and Danielle heard their concerns, was patient with them, listened to what they wanted to look like and made them into freaking movie stars!!! They were all feeling themselves! (as they should because they looked glamorous!!) Sometimes makeup artists have beautiful work, but often there look is similar on most of their clients. Danielle makes each girl look unique and helps bring out their beautiful features without it contrasting the bride. My mother's makeup constantly runs and it didn't run AT ALL! My two aunts were in the bridal suite, not planning on getting their makeup done, but HAD to get it done with Danielle after seeing her work. Danielle stayed to help me put my veil on and for touch ups when other vendors left-really showing she cares! Two other girls at my wedding immediately booked her the next day after seeing her work on our faces. The makeup lasted all night and into the morning. I have worked with several vendors and she is one of the most professional! I really wanted to tell her to put a dress on and we will see her at the wedding because in the process of doing your makeup, she becomes your friend. Thank you Danielle for making each of us feel so beautiful, for being kind and excited for me!

I don’t know that I can come up with the words to truly express how amazing Makeup by Danielle Arci is. I’ve been following Dani on Facebook and Instagram for years and the second I got engaged I knew I had to book her as my makeup artist. Dani and her team trekked all the way from New Jersey to Connecticut for the big day. My 8 bridesmaids, my mother, and my husband’s mother were all glowing and were so impressed with how great their makeup turned out. All ELEVEN of us looked and felt so BEAUTIFUL! Danielle is so professional and executed flawless makeup on everyone in my bridal party. I was so at ease as I knew everyone would love their makeup and feel beautiful; it was one thing I didn’t need to worry about getting ready on my wedding morning. Dani is so talented. Danielle was recommended to me by one of my best friends and booking her was the best decision that I made. She is professional and accommodating but also keeps everything light and fun. She is so knowledgeable so it was easy to just trust that she knew what would look best. She came on site to my October wedding at Bonnet Island Estate with her assistant Kelly, and together they worked their magic on myself, 7 bridesmaids, as well as my mom and mother in law. Dani deserves so much more than five stars! She’s such a doll and makes you feel so comfortable and at ease, and wow, is she a professional! Danielle did my makeup on my wedding day along with my 8 bridesmaids and my mom. She was beyond amazing and made us all feel so beautiful. Danielle is a girls dream come true destined to bring out the beauty of women everywhere. I barely wear makeup on a daily basis, so naturally one is hesitant assuming it will be too much. Well let me tell you, it DEFINITELY wasn’t, she makes you feel radiant and truly brings out your best features. Each of my girls have different skin and skin tones and each one of us looked FLAWLESS. Danielle did my make up for my wedding on December 14th, 2018. I cannot give her enough praise for making me look and feel like the princess bride I always dreamed of! Danielle goes above and beyond to take your visions and make them a reality. She asks for pictures in advanced so that she has an idea of what you are imagining. She let me know what make up she would be using so that I could buy it to have for touch ups later on (she also let me know when to buy it for the best deal!) She gave me recommendations for eye lashes that she thought would look good. She was beyond organized making sure that everyone in my bridal party had enough time to have their make up done as well. She is so talented, such a kind, knowledgable person, and I would recommend her to anyone!! I don't think I would ever use anyone else in the future when having my makeup professionally done! Danielle was a dream to work with and made mine and my Bridal Party's makeup look wonderful for my wedding! I received many compliments from my wedding guests and family on my makeup. My makeup looked very natural but also accentuated my features. My mom, my bridal party and myself enjoyed our morning with Danielle. I found Danielle through a friend who had used her for her wedding and when she posted pictures I immediately knew that’s who I would use. Danielle was professional from start to finish and so comforting and friendly from the trial to the day of. She knows her stuff in and out and not only gave me a look a LOVED for my wedding day but she was able to give my recommendations and help with my day to day makeup routine as well. Her and her team did an amazing job on the rest of the wedding party as well. All my girls looks beautiful and all of our makeup lasted all day! 12/10 would recommend!

Danielle is amazing! She came highly recommended and I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! She made me feel confident and pretty. Coming from someone who only wears mascara daily she made me look perfect without making me look different from my everyday self! She also helped me in picking put the perfect lipstick, eye shadow, concealer, mascara and eye liner for everyday use. Danielle taught me how to use all of the makeup for daily use. She was also helpful with giving me skincare suggestions. Since I do not have a daily regiment for my face nor do I wear makeup daily she was super patient with me. If I had any questions I could text her at anytime and she would text me back quickly. She became a friend over the last few months then someone that I had a contract with. Danielle was the makeup artist for myself, my bridesmaids, and the mother of the bride for my April 2018 wedding. She was easy and fun to work with, very responsive to questions and concerns, and she made my girls and me look amazing for the big day! I would enthusiastically recommend her without hesitation. From booking to bridal trial to the day of, Danielle was very communicative, organized, professional and skilled. She asked and answered lots of questions to ensure individualized service-- for example, I was nervous about wearing a lot of makeup as I have sensitive skin with severe eczema and did not want to break out on or after my big day. Danielle worked with me to ensure that each of the products she was using was safe and would not irritate my skin. Danielle is one of a kind-- her energy and passion for what she does is clear because of how beautiful her work is, but also because of the education she provides about skincare and makeup to everyone she works with! I don't even know where to begin. I got married 2 days ago and Danielle made not only myself, but my bridesmaid and both moms absolutely stunning! When we first met during my trial I had an instant connection with her. She fully explained everything and was very willing tocreate the look I wanted. Even on the wedding day I had changed something about my eyes and without any hesitation she did exactly what I wanted and turned out amazing! I got married May 2017 on a rainy day. I was so worried about the weather and how everything would turn out. Danielle came in with her positive attitude, bubbly personality and made me realize what it was all about. She beautifully did my make up, I mean BEAUTIFULLY, as well as my eight bridesmaids. How does one adequately portray pure PERFECTION to others in a review? I'm not totally sure, but this is my attempt. Let me start by telling you about my "Big Fat Greek Wedding" that happened a few days ago. One word can be used to describe the environment of my house the morning of my wedding: CHAOS. Danielle walked into the craziness, and was calm, cool, and collected the ENTIRE time, all while she was not feeling well. Within a matter of minutes of her arriving, she was able to take complete control of the chaos and turn a rather large bridal party into her beautiful works of art. She managed to keep my huge Greek family on track despite every obstacle thrown our way, and that's a pretty incredible feat considering that Greek people are notorious for running late. My anxiety level was through the roof and Danielle took care of that too. She made sure I was relaxed and taken care of and even stayed AFTER she was finished with my makeup to help me with my dress and my veil! She worked so well with my photographer/videographer/hair stylist to make sure everything was perfect, and she's a major reason that everything WAS perfect. If you want your makeup done by someone who is so passionate about what they do, ask Danielle. If you want your makeup done by someone who calms your nerves before your big event, ask Danielle. If you want someone who gives beyond 100% when they themselves aren't feeling 100%, ask Danielle. Seriously, look no further. Cause why would you settle for anything less than pure perfection? I was a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding where Danielle was the makeup artist. Originally, I was going to do my own makeup as I am INCREDIBLY picky. I have had my makeup professionally done for various events and every time I have redone it. I've also had the typical Mac makeovers and have never liked how the artists have done my eyes. I am so glad I did. Danielle walked me through her entire process while she worked on me to make sure I liked everything she was doing. She even made some suggestions that I actually loved. She was so professional in dealing with my picky self and didn't move on until I was completely satisfied. You expect that for the bride, but not necessarily for the bridesmaids. I have pretty watery eyes and I don't know how she got the lower lid tightline to stay put all night, but it did. The lashes she applied were perfect. Even after getting all sweaty from dancing and running around with bridesmaid responsibilities, the makeup didn't budge. I sent pictures to my mom, who is also picky about my makeup, and she LOVED it. It was without a doubt the most gorgeous I have felt with someones else doing my makeup. I would fly across the country again just to have Danielle do my makeup. She is professional, efficient, and she really cares about making the client happy. I hope to find a reason to use her again in the future.

​I got married in February on an oddly beautiful, sunny day and I was so glad to have Danielle there with me. Throughout the entire process she was responsive, supportive, positive and professional. I had never had my make-up done professionally before, so she was so helpful walking me through the process, knew exactly what kinds of questions to ask and how to make me feel comfortable. Additionally, her knowledge of make up is tremendous! I got so many compliments on my make-up all night + when I got my photos back. Dani was referred to me by a friend who was at a wedding that Dani did makeup for. Dani LISTENS. She takes every word into consideration and some how still manages to find the absolute perfect makeup look for everyone. She did makeup for me, my mom, my mother in law, and 6 of my bridesmaids. If my makeup could stay looking good throughout having the stomach virus at my wedding, I believe that speaks for itself on the quality of work she does. Her personality is just the icing on the cake. Ok, so I know that my wedding was 7 months ago now, but we just got our wedding video back. All I can say , a million times over, is how thankful I am for Danielle and her artistry. I had the noro virus at my wedding, but the quality of Danielle's work made my face look flawless, and helped to mask the fact that I was so sick. You can't even tell in the video. I truly can not thank Danielle enough for her artistry, patience, making herself available for whatever I needed, and even offering to come to my house for the trial. It just worked better for me to go to the fun workplace she has! I loved the little studio she had me in, which is actually in a shoprite where she also leads make up and skin care classes which I have attended. She taught me how to make natural and organic masks and facial scrubs which was such a fun day!After my trial, we discussed what I liked and what I would feel more comfortable with. The best part was how receptive and open she was to everything ! She did my makeup again for my engagement shoot, and NAILED it just by conversation. And he day of the wedding, she SAVED me. My 6 bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law still rave about how fantastic she was, not just as a make up artist but as a person. It of course snowed (terribly) the morning of our wedding, but she was there, on time, ready to tackle 9 of us. We can't wait to have her do our makeup again!!!!

She had done my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in our mutual friends wedding and I knew then that she would hit it out of the park whenever my wedding day came around. Danielle is not only extremely talented, she is caring, sweet, and a makes everyone around her feel at ease. I'm too lucky to call her one of my friends. She knew exactly the look I had invisioned for my day and executed it perfectly. She took her time during the bridal trial, explaining what would look best and last throughout the night for my skin type and preference for make up. On my wedding day she made me and my bridesmaids feel at ease, and I was able to enjoy the time getting ready with all of the special ladies in my life. She managed her time well between me, my 5 bridesmaids, the 2 mom's, and 2 additional ladies- 10 ladies total! Danielle went above and beyond my expectations on how I thought I would look on my wedding day. I have never felt more beautiful! My squad looked absolutely gorgeous too. It was like we were airbrushed in real life, straight from a bridal magazine. She captured all our glam looks to more subdued mother of the bride/groom looks. She even vamped up my look during the night when I changed into a 2nd dress, complete with smoked out eyes and a dark pouty lip. I can't wait to find another opportunity to have Danielle make me look and feel the way I did on my wedding day. She does more than just make up to beautify on the outside, her easy going presence and upbeat attitude make everyone she's around feel beautiful from within. I cannot express how much I love Danielle and her work!!! Searching for a makeup artist for my wedding was stressful until I came across Danielle. My everyday makeup is simple nude eyeshadow, a little liner, and mascara. I wanted the extra pampering and beauty of having my makeup done but still wanted to look like myself. My husband is not big on makeup either so I didn't want to over do it. I only needed to express this to Danielle ONCE. She listened!!! Very rare in my opinion I've come across artists that regardless of what you tell them they do what they want . I absolutely loved my makeup and fully trusted her she knew what she was doing! I cannot say enough about the beautiful job Danielle did for my daughter Nichole's makeup for her prom. Danielle explained everything she was doing along the way. Knowing how brilliant Gina is, I knew I could trust whoever she would recommend. When I met Danielle for my makeup trial, she was very sweet and welcoming and her main concern was giving me exactly what I was looking for. That night after the makeup trial she sent me a makeup itinerary for the wedding day, this was super handy, being that I too like to be very organized! It's true what they say that your wedding day completely flies by, tensions are high, and no matter how organized you want to be that just doesn't end up being the case! The minute Danielle got there she set up and got to work, that was one thing I knew I didn't have to worry about. The experience that I had with Danielle was fantastic. From the moment I sat down for our trial I knew that the experience was going to be smooth. She always follows-up with emails & phone calls.
